MOSCOW, Aug 19 (PRIME) -- Russians’ real wages grew 3.5% on the year but fell 7.2% on the month in July and rose 2.1% in January–July, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Monday.
The average monthly wage amounted to 45,900 rubles in July, up 8.2% on the year. In January–July, growth stood at 7.2%, the service said.
The service also revised its estimate for real wages in June and January–June as it received adjusted data, and now it sees real wages growing 2.9% on the year in June instead of 2.9% and 1.9% on the year in January–June instead of 1.8%.
